Cleansing oil surrounds makeup and sebum with oils, then uses an emulsifier to disperse that mixture when water is added. The clear oil turning milky is the visible sign of emulsification.
Start with dry hands and a dry face. Spread Pure Deep Cleansing Oil gently, then wet only your fingertips and massage again. Add a little more lukewarm water for 20–30 seconds before rinsing thoroughly.
Product information lists caprylic/capric triglyceride, Sorbeth-30 tetraoleate and several plant oils. The goal is not prolonged rubbing; it is adding water gradually so oil and residue can disperse together.
After heavy makeup, follow with a small amount of Pure Mild Cleansing Gel if you prefer a second cleanse. If skin feels tight, first reduce the amount and cleansing time.
